Shanti - Journey Of Peace |
Sanatana Dharama Foundation (SDF) would like to invite you to Shanti: A Journey Of Peace an acclaimed choral multi-media theater production that will be performed for the first time in the Houston area. A 90 member Indian community choir with singers from the Greater Houston community will sing along with the United Nations Association International Choir in this historical concert. Accompanying the singers will be a 30 member chamber orchestra, an Indian instrumental ensemble and multi-genre classical dances. Mr. Sanjeev Arora, Consular General of India - Houston will be the Chief Guest at the 8:30 performance. Why you should attend:
All proceeds from this performance goes to AIM for Seva Charity in India. The mission of AIM for Seva is to make education accessible to every child in the tribal, rural, and urban areas through the concept of a Student Home and to provide basic health care to people living in the remote regions of the country.

The topic for the seminar is "Building a Strong Hindu Identity in America" The Seminar aims at the creation of new awareness amongst the Hindu community and helps build strong identity amongst children.
